Athena was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when she was only 21 months old. She endured three years of grueling treatment. She went into a complete remission on August 5, 2014!
Today, Athena loves to dance, color, and play with her dolls. It is thanks to LLS that her family was a recipient of financial aid to offset the cost of treatment, and that there were treatment options available to cure this cute little girl!
